Halcyon Vintage, Deep Groove donate to James River Park

Friends of the James River ParkFan District retailers Halycon Vintage Clothing and Deep Groove Records dontated money to the non-profit Friends of the James River Park after recent rummage sales, according to Maureen Egan, president of the Friends of James River Park. Halycon Vintage owner Connie Carroll and Deep Groove owner Jay Leavitt were said to be happy to donate about $250 each.  

Both businesses had run rummage sales recently and a percentage of the proceeds went to FOJRP. According to Egan, both Connie and Jay remarked how happy people were knowing the money was going to help the James River Park System.
