The James River Park license plates having moved on at the General Assembly, but the group still needs more people to sign up — 350 was to get in at the GA, but 1,000 is the key with DMV to get money, according to the Friends of James River Park:
Several Friends were at the General Assembly building bright and early last week to see our bill, 2414, rolled into a larger license plate bill, HB 1418 and approved by the transportation sub-committee. The full House approved that bill 99-0 on February 8th and now it is over at the Senate’s transportation committee. All is as it should be. We were able to thank Delegate McQuinn in person for her work on our license plate bill.
